Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi Story

Obi-Wan Kenobi! What a cool cat! This galactic hero was a total Jedi Master and part of the Jedi Council during the last years of the Republic. He rocked it as a Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic, fighting against the Separatist Droid Army during the Clone Wars. Sadly, he was later forced into exile due to the Great Jedi Purge.

On the bright side, he was an awesome mentor to not one, but two members of the Skywalker family – Anakin and Luke Skywalker. Talk about a star-studded résumé! Obi-Wan had a knack for Jedi training and passed on his wisdom and expertise to both Skywalkers in the ways of the Force. Jedi high-five, Obi-Wan!

Born On Stewjon

So Obi-Wan Kenobi was born on the most awesome planet anywhere, Stewjon! Can you believe it? And get this: he was such a talented kid that he made it into the Jedi Order and was even hanging out at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. He totally lucked out by getting Qui-Gon Jinn as his Jedi Master. I mean, seriously, how sweet is that?

Destiny Through The Oath

In 32 BBY, Kenobi totally leveled up and became a Jedi Knight by showing Darth Maul who’s boss during the Invasion of Naboo. And get this: he also took on the task of training Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One destined to bring balance to the Force and destroy the Sith. You go, Kenobi! He made a promise to Jinn, who sadly bit the dust in the epic lightsaber duel against Maul. Let’s just say, Kenobi’s got some serious Jedi skills up his sleeve.

General Kenobi

Did you know that during the Clone Wars, Kenobi became a High Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic and was given command of the Open Circle Fleet, the Third Systems Army, and the 7th Sky Corps? Talk about a promotion! His second-in-command, Clone Marshal Commander CC-2224 (aka Cody), helped him lead their forces to victory against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. May the Force be with them!

An Old Enemy Returns

Amidst all the chaos and action, guess who came back from the dead? That’s right—his longtime enemy Maul! Maul was thirsty for revenge against Kenobi for beating him years ago. They had some pretty intense duels, but Maul just couldn’t finish the job or break Kenobi’s spirit. Even though he did the unspeakable and took out Kenobi’s former flame, Satine Kryze, Duchess of Mandalore, Kenobi stayed strong. Talk about being the ultimate Jedi survivor!

A Hermits Life

In a galaxy far, far away, Kenobi showed off his Jedi skills by taking down the Separatist badass General Grievous during the Battle of Utapau. He then managed to survive the wicked Order 66 and even defeated his former padawan, Darth Vader, during a showdown on the lava planet Mustafar.

To lay low from the new galactic rulers, Kenobi disappeared to live as a hermit named Ben on the sandy planet of Tatooine. There, he kept a watchful eye over Vader’s secret son, a certain Luke Skywalker. You could say Kenobi became the ultimate protector and Jedi master to Luke, all while sporting his hermit robes and a calm demeanor. May the force be with Ben, always!

Through The Force

Kenobi was one slick cat who totally nailed the art of becoming one with the Force after sacrificing himself. He kept showing Luke the ropes during that crazy Galactic Civil War like he was Luke’s own personal guru. Come 4 ABY, Kenobi got to chillax with his old pupil, Anakin Skywalker, who had to make the ultimate sacrifice to take out his evil Sith Master and save his son. I bet he was stoked to reunite with him and catch up on old times in the great beyond. Jedi high-five, yea!
