Togruta: The Star Wars Species Explained

Alright, listen up, folks! Allow me to introduce you to the Togruta, the most colorful and uniquely designed humanoids in the galaxy! They’ve got vibrant skin tones, mesmerizing head-tails, and let’s not forget those white paints on their faces that just make them stand out! These guys hail from the planet Shili, and if you happen to visit, don’t be surprised to find about 50,000 of them partying it up at their Kiros colony! Oh, and did I mention that some of the greatest Jedi Masters and one of our favorite Padawans, Ahsoka Tano, were all Togrutas? Yep, that’s how cool and badass they are!

Togruta Appearance

Togrutas are so cool! They’re like a walking rainbow with their dazzling coats of every color under the sun! Woohoo! Not only that, they’ve got some fantastic superpowers too! With multiple stomachs, they can chow down on double the snacks! Yum! And those lekku headtails? Fashion goals, guys! The ladies are rocking those extra-long ones. And let’s not forget those monstrous horns! These babies can hear like nobody’s business! They can detect movement up to 82 feet away! That’s like having your own built-in radar system. Can someone just hand me a lekku, please? I’m feeling a bit left out over here.

Togruta Society and Government

Go! Togrutas! They’re basically the coolest species in the galaxy! They live off the land, building their homes on cliffs to take in the amazing views. And get this—they’re bilingual! They can speak both Galactic Basic and their own language; how impressive is that? But here’s the really wild part: they love the environment so much that they go around barefoot just to feel the earth under their toes.

These guys are like the ultimate environmentalists! And did you know that they even had their own queen, who led the Togruta government? They had their own military and guard, too. Oh, and let’s not forget their Royal Togruta Fleet, made up of numerous warships. Seriously, these guys are awesome!

Jedi Togruta

So excited!, Have you heard about the Togruta Jedi? These guys and gals are some of the coolest Jedi around! There was this one Jedi named Raana Tey, a member of the Jedi Covenant, who was a real go-getter. She was even involved in the Mandalorian Wars and the Taris Padawan Massacre—talk about action-packed!

Then there’s Shaak Ti, a member of the Jedi High Council who kicked some serious butts during the Clone Wars. She was a famous Togruta and was even one of the few survivors of the First Battle of Geonosis. And let’s not forget our girl, Ahsoka Tano, the apprentice of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker—another badass Togruta Jedi. These guys know how to fight and they make the galaxy a safer place to live in.
