No matter what challenges come their way, they always show Mandalorian-style strength and determination, which is totally legendary! Where is Mandalore located?
The planet Mandalore is out of this world! LOL, (pun intended)! It’s located in the Mandalore system of the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy and is totally worth checking out if you’re in the area. Just watch out for those pesky Mythosaurs, they can be quite the troublemakers! The planet used to be full of greenery, woods, seas, mountains, lakes, and other beautiful vegetation, but things have changed over time. Nowadays, it’s a bit of a desert, but it’s still got a pretty amazing heat we can tolerate! Come hang out with us and see for yourself.
Mandalore's Early Inhabitants
According to legendary tales, there used to be these massive sea beasts called Mythosaurs who totally bossed the place before the Mandalorians showed up. Some stories even suggest they rubbed fins with the Alamite species. But, let’s be real, who knows if these beasts were just too wild for anyone to handle!
You won’t believe it, but it’s said that the mines in Mandalore were the old stomping ground for these massive creatures. But wait, the best part: when Mandalore the Great took down and rode one of these Mythosaurs, the Mandalorians were all like “YAAAS” and started using their skull as their official symbol! How cool is that?!
Forged in Battle, Forged in Beskar
Oh my gosh, have you heard of the insanely cool metal called Beskar? It’s so rare that you can only find it on Mandalore! And get this, it’s practically indestructible which makes it mega valuable. The Mandalorians are the experts in using this stuff to make weapons, armor, and anything else you can think of that’s super strong and crazy light. They are basically like superheroes with Beskar! Plus, it’s so strong that it can even survive a lightsaber, like how amazing is that?!
Mandalore becomes Inhospitable
So the Mandalorians had some serious civil wars and even a war with the Jedi, which really messed up their planet. But don’t worry, they’re pretty resourceful – they built themselves these super cool domed cities to survive the harsh environment. And get this – eventually they even switched to a pacifist government led by Duchess Satine Kryze. Talk about a change of heart!
The Lamentation of Mandalore: Night of a Thousand Tears
Do you want the juicy gossip about Darth Maul and the Shadow Collective? Let’s just say things got a bit out of hand and poor Satine Kryze ended up taking the fall in front of her sis and Obi-Wan Kenobi. It was quite the intense moment but thankfully Bo-Katan stepped up to the plate and took charge, uniting Mandalore.
Unfortunately, the good vibes didn’t last and the Empire totally ruined everything by bombing the planet to oblivion during The Night of A Thousand Tears. Mandalore hasn’t been the same since, but some of the Mandalorians managed to escape the craziness and are holding out hope for a better future.
Din Djarin travels to Mandalore
Guess what?! The Mandalorian, Din Djarin, finally said “enough is enough” and decided he needed to make things right with his fellow Mandalorians. So, he headed off to Mandalore to regain his Mandalorian cred. But, get this, to complete the task, he had to take a dip in the living waters on Mandalore. No big deal, right? Wrong! As soon as he got there, BAM! The poor guy gets captured. Luckily, he wasn’t too proud to ask for help and sent his pocket-sized compadre, Grogu, to get some backup from Bo-Katan Kryze. This guy just can’t seem to catch a break!
Viva La Mandalore!
Did you hear the incredible news? our girl Bo-Katan, the best mandalorian warrior ever, saved Din Djarin from a sticky situation! And if that’s not enough, they joined forces with the Mandalorians and returned to Mandalore. The only problem was they found Moff Gideon sitting on the throne, but no sweat, Bo-Katan and the Armorer had it all under control.
They split their forces and charged into battle, with one group hitting up the Great Forge to fix things up, while the other fought a wild war against Gideon’s base. It was bananas! Just when they were about to lose, Woves called for backup, and the Cruisers showed up to take down the Empire. Finally, after all the madness, Djarin, Bo-Katan, and Grogu took down Gideon and saved Mandalore. Viva la Mandalore!
